Portland International Airport Information

Portland International Airport Parking

Cheap PDX airport parking is hard to find in a pinch, but there are different options you can choose from. Instead of spending your valuable time circling the lots on-site, look into off-site Portland International Airport parking lots that are all available a few miles away from the airport. Customers are often taken to and from the airport on complimentary shuttles, and vehicles are guaranteed to be safe and secure.

Portland International Airport

Readers of Travel+Leisure magazine rated PDX as the number one airport in North America in 2013, which isn’t surprising considering all it has to offer. Aside from the beautiful scenery of Portland as you fly in or out of the airport, there is a lot to do for the traveler that has a layover here.

Food Selection at PDX

Mexican food fanatics shouldn’t waste their time with anything else and head straight over to Sandoval’s Mexican Grill for some authentic cuisine. For a quick drink or some coffee, there’s Coffee People, Capers Café et Le Bar, or Jamba Juice, though you can stop into some of the restaurants for some stronger drinks as well. While you’re here, try some of the Burgerville sandwiches. You won’t be disappointed.

Shopping in Portland International

To mess with some massagers or other gadgets in Brookstone, walk over to Concourse B. While you’re in the area, look into Powell’s Books for a good read while you’re waiting for a flight or pick up some new threads at McKenzie Shoes & Apparel. For a little sportier clothes, you’ll have to head north to the area between Concourse D and E to Columbia Sportswear, though across from Powell’s you’ll also find a NIKE Store.

Activities around PDX

Portland, a city known for its hipsteresque community, is an undeniably beautiful northwestern city that’s cozied up right next to Canada, but that’s not what they’re all about. The natural beauty of this area isn’t hard to find, so why not start with a day trip to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area or the Oneonta Gorge? History lovers should take a cab over to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry or the Portland Children’s Museum for something that the entire family will love.

Also be sure to check out the following attractions:
