Miami International Airport (MIA) was founded in 1928 and has since become a major airport utilized in Florida. Nearly 70 percent of international travelers fly through this airport and over 3,000 passengers travel in and out per hour. Over the years, MIA has received many improvements to roadways and terminals, transforming it in an extremely popular and high functioning Florida airport.
With a total of 8,233 parking spaces available at the Miami International Airport, on-site parking is both convenient and easily accessible. There are several different options to choose from to fit the parking needs of any traveler.
The Dolphin Garage (North – serves the North Terminal D and E): $2.00 per every twenty minutes with a daily maximum of $17.00
The Flamingo Garage (South – serves the Central Terminal F and G, and South Terminal H and J): $2.00 per every twenty minutes with a daily maximum of $17.00
Valet Parking: $18.00 for up to three hours, $30.00 for 3 to 24 hours, $40.00 for each of the following 24 hour periods.
Parking for disabled passengers is located near the moving sidewalks on the 3rd level of both the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. There are also designated disabled parking spots for wheelchair accessible vehicles on the ground level of the Dolphin Garage. Any vehicle displaying a disabled parking permit or license tag is allowed up to two hours of parking without charge; once the two hours have been exceeded, standard parking rates will apply.
Parking for vehicles that are considered oversize is available in the “High-Vehicle” surface lot parking area of the North Dolphin Garage.
SunPass users have the option to pay automatically upon their exit from the on-site parking facilities. Simply use the SunPass lane upon your arrival and departure, and the price for your parking will be charged automatically to the billing method linked with your SunPass account.
